We recently had the privilege to be invited on board the Emerald Azzurra with Emerald Cruises. Upon embarkation at Bodrum Port, it was pure 5 star luxury from beginning to end. We were met by lovely crew members with a welcoming smile and a glass of champagne upon our arrival of the ship.

3 Day Cruise
Bodrum – Patmos - Rhodes
Welcome Onboard:
50 cabins accommodating up to 100 guests and a range of cabin level types. Entry level entry which is nice and spacious, to a suite and state rooms. All beautifully decorated and equipped. Across the ship, the decore has neutral tones and high end design. Giving a very luxurious yet welcoming feel.
The observation deck lends itself as a wonderful event space option. With access on to the deck or inside. You experience great views of the aqua blue sea, stunning sun sets and the land. Quite the backdrop for any event!
The Sky Bar (with mixologists who will make a personalised cocktail from your spirit of choice) as you chill out in the hot tub, relax on deck or at the bar. The deck below has an infinity pool with lazyboy bean bags and loungers on deck around the pool.
There is a café/bar area where you can get a light snack or a drink. The crew invite you to visit them on the bridge and are happy to talk you through all of the controls, equipment and answer any questions. This was a real highlight (amongst many) of the trip.
The La Cucina Dining is a culinary delight. The menu has traditional cuisine from the country/area they are docked at on that day. The dining experience is first class, delicious, with 5 Star service across all of the staff.
Post dinner you can relax in the Amici Bar & Lounge. By night the very talented and helpful bar staff will mix you a cocktail or drink of your choice. Then by day you can grab a hot drink and cookie.
On Ship Activities
There is so much to do onboard. The program includes the option of the marine deck, which allows you to jump into the sea from the boat. There are also other on water options such as paddleboarding or simply pamper yourself in the spa; infer-red sauna, treatment rooms, gym and a hair dressing room.
Going Onshore
There are also extensive excursions to choose from when you dock. We docked at Patmos, which with Emerald Azzurra being a luxury yacht - 110 metres long. It's smaller than cruise ship, meaning she can dock at places other cruises are unable to. So your experience will be different to you typical cruise itinerary.
Patmos - A typically Greek Island with it’s blue roof, white washed buildings and cobbled streets.
Rhodes - The port is situated close to the Old Town in Rhodes. This is well worth a visit as it is steeped in history with historical buildings and beautiful views.
Summary:
The Emerald Azzurra has many options to host your event, with many of the spaces able to be privatised. For larger groups there is of course a complete buy out option. Just imagine having your event exclusively on a 5 star luxury yacht!
