For the fourth year running, We Are MEaT partnered with Erevena to deliver its annual Summer Summit.
The event brought 58 people together at Wyboston Lakes for a one night company offsite built around business focus, team collaboration and culture. Across 12 weeks, We Are MEaT planned and delivered the full experience, managing the venue, guest journey, programme flow and four event suppliers. The result was a company summit that felt considered, energising and genuinely connected to Erevena’s people.

The brief
Erevena’s Summer Summit is a key moment in the company calendar. It gives the team time to step away from the day to day, reflect on progress, recognise success and look ahead with shared focus.
For 2026, the brief was to create an offsite that could deliver on several levels. The leadership team needed the right environment for business updates, strategic discussion and company recognition. The wider team needed a programme that felt engaging, sociable and inclusive. The venue had to support conference content, accommodation, catering, outdoor activity and evening hospitality in one seamless experience.
This was not about creating a standard away day. It was about building a company moment with purpose, pace and personality.

The location
Wyboston Lakes was selected because it gave the event the right balance of practicality and atmosphere. The venue offered strong conference facilities, overnight accommodation and the operational infrastructure needed for a smooth corporate offsite. It also gave the team access to outdoor space and the lakeside setting at Sandpiper Bay, which became an important part of the evening experience.
For a summit of this kind, the venue had to do more than accommodate the group. It had to support the rhythm of the day. Wyboston Lakes allowed the programme to move naturally from conference content to collaborative working, then into high energy team activity and finally into a relaxed lakeside evening.

Our role
We Are MEaT managed the event from planning through to live delivery.
Our role covered venue management, programme development, supplier coordination, catering planning, activity sourcing, guest flow, logistics and on site delivery. With 58 attendees and four suppliers involved, the detail mattered. The aim was to make the event feel effortless for the client and engaging for the guests. Every part of the experience was planned around how people would move through the day. The structure needed to keep the team focused when the agenda was business led, energised when the programme became competitive and relaxed when the evening moved into a more social setting.

The experience
The day began with the business agenda.
The morning conference gave Erevena space to bring the whole team together, share updates from the leadership team, recognise progress and align everyone around the next stage of the year. This gave the summit its commercial purpose. It made the event more than a social gathering and created a clear reason for the team to be together.
The Hackathon then brought a more collaborative working format into the programme. It encouraged people to contribute ideas, think practically and work across teams. It gave the day substance and made the summit feel active rather than passive.
In the afternoon, the tone shifted. Quid Games brought a completely different kind of energy to the event. Inspired by Squid Game, the activity was designed as a playful, competitive group challenge that encouraged teamwork, strategy and quick thinking. It gave people a reason to mix outside their usual working groups. It created shared stories. It brought humour, competition and momentum into the day without losing sight of the wider culture building objective.
The evening then moved to Sandpiper Bay on the lake. After a full day of business content, collaboration and competition, the lakeside setting gave the group space to slow down. A relaxed barbecue, outdoor games and music created an easy atmosphere for conversation and connection.This part of the event was deliberately informal. It gave people time to enjoy being together away from the normal working environment. It also created the kind of natural social interaction that makes a company offsite feel valuable long after the event has finished.
The evening was not an afterthought. It was a key part of the culture brief.
