When you have the chance to book that dream holiday, do you know what to do when there?
Of course if your dream involves a beautiful relaxing setting, this may be straight forward to achieve. However those looking at multi stop vacations, it takes a lot of planning!
This is exactly what happened when we were approached by the Jennings family from New Zealand. They were about to embark on a 3 week tour of Europe covering several of the major cities along the way. Covering all the major landmarks can be very costly, leaving very little room within the budget for accommodation or to add in potential once in a lifetime experiences.
So when we discussed with them what exactly it was they could to do in addition to that already in their package, it came up that they were all avid Chelsea FC fans. It just so happened that the London leg of their holiday, Chelsea were playing at home...so we tinkered a little with their plans and were able to set up hospitality for them at the match that included; match day tickets, museum and stadium tours and a 3 course meal with Legendary players.
The result thankfully went their way on the day...(a planner's nightmare!!) but it also left them, especially their two sons with memories and an experience they will remember for a very long time!
The next and final leg was in Paris. Major capital cities are never the cheapest, and have a huge range of things to see and do. So we looked at booking a small apartment near to the centre that would be suitable and more cost effective than a hotel stay. The location was just south of the city centre and easily accessible to the Metro and train stations. It also allowed for a quick trip to Disneyland Paris which was again on their potential itinerary, but may not have come into the budget at one stage.
We were so delighted to help add that extra little sparkle to a special family's dream holiday. It's a real joy area for us work wise to be able to plan in and achieve little things that ordinarily may have been overlooked, or simply not available due to time and budget.
